1961:


Entry of PFSV Neuss e.V. into the sport club register. The idea of ​​founding an association arises in the largest parish of Neuss, called “Christ-King”. A large part of the community members should get the chance to do sports.


The following members are considered founding fathers of the association: Wilhelm Hau, Anton u. Karl-Heinz Ritzerfeld, Stefan Jordans, Hans Breuer, Robert Klein, Helmut Olbrich, Kurt Hauch, Hermann-Josef Dusend.

 

 

1969:

The "community of interest for the establishment of a sports club for the police and fire-brigade" takes first steps for the establishment of a common police and fire-brigade sports association Nordstadt Neuss 1961 e.V. The association already strives for a fusion with the sports club DJK Nordstadt. First talks are held on 19 May 1969 in the Fire Station East of the fire department on the Hammer Landstraße. Only a few months later, Neuss lawyer Dr. Seitz creates a first statute of the PFSV Neuss 1961 e.V. In July 1969 the statute of the PFSV Neuss 1961 e.V. is presented to more than 100 new members in the restaurant Türk.

In October 1969, the PFSV Neuss 1961 e.V. starts to compete. The following sports are represented: athletics, handball, football, fistball, table tennis, swimming.

 

1978:

On 3 May 1978 the annual general meeting of the PFSV decides to merge with the DJK Nordstadt with 72 yes-votes, 10 abstentions and 1 dissenting vote. On 22 May 1978 the annual general meeting for the fusion takes place under the leadership of the member of parliament. H. G. Hüsch. The PFSV Neuss e.V. becomes the PFSV Nordstadt Neuss e.V.

1983:

The district sports facility Stadtwald is provided to the citizens and the PFSV Nordstadt Neuss.

1986:

For the 25th anniversary of the PFSV Nordstadt Neuss 1961 e.V., the sports club plays against the national team of the Bundeswehr. The game ends 15:1 in favor of the national team.


The following sports are represented at this time: football, handball, swimming, jiu-jitsu, children's gymnastics, volleyball, shooting and athletics.

2005:

The PFSV Nordstadt Neuss 1961 e.V. is renamed PSV Neuss 1961 e.V. This is followed by entry into the umbrella organization of police sports clubs in Germany.

 

2017:

Peter Soliman, Managing Director of the neighboring ISR - International School on the Rhine, is elected 2nd Chairman of the PSV Neuss 1961 e.V. A large-scale cooperation is planned, in the framework of which, among other things, the district sports facility Stadtwald should be modernized. The construction of an artificial turf pitch and a plastic track on the Bezirkssportanlage Stadtwald are planned.
